It's been another exciting season for Native Eyes with successful workshops and events being run all over the country, developing our partnerships with private clients as well as larger organisations such as the Corporation of London and the National Trust.

GUERNSEY TREE FESTIVAL: September 2011 took us to The Guersney Tree Festival where Native Eyes was the centre piece of the Festival. We also delivered an exciting series of workshops to three of the island's schools. Plans are already afoot for more workshops next year. HIGHGATE HERITAGE DAY: For the third year running Native Eyes was pleased to deliver Bushcraft activities as part of this inspiring event run by the Corporation of London in September 2011. We have already been booked for 2012.

HIGHGATE BUSHCRAFT COURSES: Hosted again by the fabulous rangers at Highgate woods, Native Eyes ran a series of workshops for children and adults during the summer. In spite of terrible weather, everyone had an amazing time. Plans are already afoot for more workshops in 2012.

NORFOLK: This Summer, for the third year running we were delighted to collaborate with Smokesilver Travel on two weeks of children's workshops in a private woodland near Burnham Market, North Norfolk.

PRIVATE EVENTS: An ever increasing range of events including birthday parties, hen parties and bespoke training for private groups that took Native Eyes all over the country.

CONFERENCES: David was invited to speak and run workshops at the Growing Greener Futures Conference at Rosehill Primary in Stockdale. Attended by over 100 teachers and principals from all over the UK this was a great opportunity to spread the word about the relevance of Bushcraft to the National Curriculum. Many thanks to Martin Waller for organising it.

SCHOOLS: Once again Native Eyes has been invited to schools all over the country delivering bushcraft workshops ranging from Assemblies, to one day workshops, to workshops lasting a whole week.

FUTURE PLANS: Bookings are already coming in for next season and we're planning for more workshops in Norfolk, Guernsey, Highgate, Winkworth Arboretum and our own private woodland in Kent. We are also developing links with organisations in the South West of the country. This will include an exhibition in St Ives, Cornwall, in August 2012 linking art, bushcraft, storytelling and woodcraft. Click here to find out more.
