Our primary work comprises schools workshops, corporate training programmes, and bespoke private courses. However,we also deliver events with a Bushcraft theme for special functions, ranging from birthday and retirement celebrations to hen parties and book launches.
Recent clients have included the National Trust, the Corporation of London, Guernsey Men

DAVID HUNT :
David founded Native Eyes 7 years ago as a result of his abiding passion for trees, bushcraft and traditional woodland skills. Initially inspired by a rural upbringing and the work of Ray Mears,he undertook a number of courses at his famous Woodlore School before honing his skills by training with John Ryder's rigorous instructor programme at Plumpton College.
Alongside his bushcraft teaching he also works as an actor, artist, green woodworker and timber-frame builder, and relishes incorporating aspects of these skills into his teaching-style,with a particular interest in storytelling and folklore. He is also resident bushcraft instructor at Bloo House School in Surrey.
DOMINIC LAZELL:
Dominic has had a passion for Africa and adventure since travelling to Malawi, aged 17. Since then over the last 22 years he has worked, travelled and expeditioned across the continent, spending time to get under the skin of each country whilst there. He ended up running tours in Ghana with his old company Soul of Africa Trails before heading back to the UK, where he met David on the Bushcraft instructor course at Plumpton College.
As well as teaching bushcraft, Dominic now runs “Jungle Boots”, an adventure company that specialises in Jungle trekking and adventure holidays in Sierra Leone in West Africa. In his spare time he has decided that running ultramarathons is a good idea.
PIERS H. GARDENER:
Piers is an experienced and intuitive businessman who started his commercial career in marketing and PR for Blue Chip companies in London. He is the co-founder and Director of Bloo House School in Esher where he also leads Forest School activities. He passionately believes that the natural world plays a key role in all our lives and that it is important that such a philosophy is taught to children from a very young age. Aboriginal culture is Piers' other great passion. He has spent much time in North East Arnhem Land living in the Bush with the Galpu Clan studying Didjeridu with renowned Aboriginal Elder Djalu Gurruwiwi.
